Transfer of Two Medical Assistance Vehicles to Kramatorsk Community

Ця публікація також доступна такими мовами: Українська (Ukrainian)

On Monday, March 25, two medical assistance vehicles were handed over to the Kramatorsk Community as part of the project “Ensuring Access to Essential Assistance in Eastern Ukraine.”

The vehicles will be used to provide medical care to residents of the Kramatorsk community and to those who have relocated to the area due to the war. The mobile units are especially important for elderly individuals and residents of remote areas who find it difficult to reach hospitals.

“This will primarily bring medical assistance closer to those with limited mobility—palliative care patients, those with chronic conditions, and individuals experiencing various exacerbations. Thanks to this project, residents of our Kramatorsk community will receive better primary medical care,” said Oleksandr Vlasenko.

Each vehicle is equipped with:

  • Glucometer
  • Mobile ECG
  • Portable ultrasound diagnostic device
  • Ophthalmoscope
  • Blood pressure monitor
  • Defibrillator
  • Oxygen support apparatus
  • Supply of medications

Patients will be able to undergo comprehensive examinations, receive consultations, obtain prescriptions for free medications under the “Affordable Medicines” program, and get referrals to specialists as needed.

The vehicles will start operating on April 1. Stay tuned for updates!
