The manifesto is, rather, a political document, a political road sign that says what the foundations should be for the future of Ukrainian medicine, what we should talk about the medical community; about a citizen, not as a patient, precisely as a citizen; what forms health; what we should be talking about the state, what is the responsibility of the state, especially given COVID and the challenges that come with it.
The main points of the Manifesto:
- health is the main value
- the doctor must be free to make decisions
- a medical facility is an autonomous system that also makes decisions on its own
- the state must guarantee security
The main task of the Manifesto is not even to reform how it will go, but to say that reform is necessary, it cannot be stopped. Let's do it
