Training Objective

This author-led training is based on the experience of forming situational coalitions by the Civil Alliance "Political Action for Women." The training was conducted by Iryna Tyshko.

The aim is to strengthen the capacity of women's and feminist NGOs to create situational coalitions that enhance their visibility and ensure effective advocacy for women's rights and the feminist agenda. Participants included leaders of NGOs and activists from the women's movement.

First Day

  • Participants were introduced to the algorithm for creating situational coalitions through real case studies.
  • They learned to collaborate within the coalition based on the "leader-to-leader" concept.
  • They utilized the "Dilts Pyramid" for analyzing leadership in the coalition process.

Second Day

  • Attendees received practical tools for analyzing organizational and partnership capacities.
  • They gained insights on risk management during the implementation of joint projects.
  • They learned the rules of internal and external communication within the coalition and how to provide professional feedback based on collaborative activities.

"Horizontal connections are our national formula for survival and resilience. As practice has shown, we can build communities led by values. This is not just a training; it is a mutual investment of knowledge and experience in each other that shapes our resilience. Thank you all for your contribution!" said Iryna Tyshko.
