We are pleased to share news about our events aimed at supporting women. The Healthy Solutions Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Women’s Fund, conducted a training session designed to strengthen the capacity of women's and feminist organizations to create situational coalitions.
On May 21-22, a training session took place in Ternopil.
Topic: "Strengthening the Capacity of Women's and Feminist Organizations to Create Situational Coalitions to Enhance Their Visibility and Ensure Effective Advocacy for Women's Rights and the Feminist Agenda."
The main trainer was Iryna Tyshko, Chair of the Public Alliance "Political Action of Women."
The training was attended by civic activists and leaders of women's organizations from Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv. This training was important for them as they sought knowledge on building situational coalitions, analyzing the capacities of their and partner organizations, as well as fostering conflict-free collaboration and forming a shared vision. Special attention was given to working in small groups, discussions, and addressing potential problems and risks that may arise during cooperation.
The training consisted of several key blocks aimed at helping participants present their strengths, understand their leadership qualities, analyze issues related to supporting military families, identify intersections for effective collaboration, and learn how to provide quality feedback. Exercises facilitated trust-building, the formation of a coalition vision, and the establishment of community values.
