The project is being implemented by:

  • The Charity Fund "Health Solutions"
  • The Ukrainian Women's Fund
  • The Government of Canada
Project Description:

The project aims to enhance women's participation in societal processes, promote feminist perspectives, and combat discrimination. It creates platforms for collaboration among women's organizations, activists, and initiative groups working in the field of gender equality in Ukraine. The goal is to support organizations that assist women and girls facing multiple forms of discrimination, while also strengthening organizational capacity to implement gender-sensitive reforms.

The academy included two events:

Seminar-Workshop "Reboot: Overcoming the Consequences of Stressful Events"

This event provided an opportunity to learn more about stress and its impact on mental and physical health. Participants developed their own stress-coping strategies, learned five skills for mental recovery, and were able to restore their energy under the guidance of Galina Tyutyunnik, a psychotherapist with many years of experience.

Women's Circle "Returning to Yourself. Being a Woman During the War."

Organized by Dr. Silina's School of Women's Health, which has dedicated over 17 years to women's health. The project addressed the impact of stress on women's and men's reproductive, sexual, mental, and physical health.

The Women's Health Academy became part of the project "Voice of Women and Leadership – Ukraine," implemented with the support of the Government of Canada and carried out by the Ukrainian Women's Fund, the International Renaissance Foundation, and the Health Solutions Charity Foundation. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate on changing the lives and health of women.
