On October 18, a monitoring visit took place in Kramatorsk with the participation of partners from the project "Ensuring Access to Essential Medical Care in Eastern Ukraine":
During the meeting, the results of the project over the past six months were discussed, including:
3,361 patients examined, of which 2,532 were primary examinations;
Among the patients: 935 men and 1,597 women;
14% of patients are people with disabilities, and nearly 50% are aged 65 and older.
These figures indicate that the most vulnerable groups remain the elderly, individuals with limited mobility, and palliative patients.
Local algorithms for coordinating services and redirecting patients to specialized medical care were also approved. This model is already operational and can be implemented in other communities. A special emphasis was placed on ensuring the sustainability of medical care provided by mobile teams after the project concludes.
"Mobile teams are an important model for delivering medical care in frontline communities." Oleksandr Vlasenko
All of this was made possible through the support of our partners.
