Buchansk Community:

“Time to Choose Health” - Most people only visit a doctor when health issues become obvious. Our project, “Time to Choose Health,” promotes regular health screenings. Recently, we conducted screenings for employees at an educational institution within the Buchansk City Territorial Community. Procedures included measuring body weight, height, blood pressure, blood sugar, as well as consultations with a family doctor regarding mental health, nutrition, and an active lifestyle. We remind everyone of the importance of regular preventive examinations, even if you feel healthy. This project is supported by the Health Solutions Charity Fund.

“Assessment of Type 2 Diabetes Compensation” – for residents of the Buchansk community, and implementing measures to prevent complications of diabetes – from the Buchansk Consultative-Diagnostic Center.

“Our Health” – improving the quality of life and longevity of the population through access to primary diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases and Type 2 diabetes – from the “Conscious Buchansk Community” NGO.

“Accessible Health” – providing Bucha residents with the opportunity to exercise outdoors using a set of strength training equipment – from Bucha Secondary School I-III grades No. 1.

“Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for Victims”

Providing pre-medical assistance is a crucial skill, especially for teenagers and youth. The Skvyra Center for Children and Youth Creativity implemented the project “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for Victims,” which received a mini-grant from our fund. During April, community students learned at the Creativity Center how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and indirect heart massage. This training is part of the All-Ukrainian Military-Patriotic Game “Sokil” (“Dzhura”), which prepares young rescuers for real-life situations.

Kramatorsk Community:

“Check-up at the Workplace”

The “Check-up at the Workplace” project is successfully being implemented in Kramatorsk through collaboration with the Kramatorsk City Council and the Family Medicine Center 1. During the first phase, 13 visits were made to 6 enterprises, where 197 individuals were examined. Elevated blood pressure was detected in 150 individuals, for whom a “Health School” will be organized. This project also emphasizes the importance of data collection on the health of the population and having a family doctor.
