Health for All: Ensuring Medical Accessibility in Eastern Ukraine

Ця публікація також доступна такими мовами: Українська (Ukrainian)

Today, residents of frontline areas do not always have access to consultations with specialist doctors and often lose full access to medical care. The war has destroyed infrastructure, many doctors have left, and the number of elderly people in need of medical support is growing.

Thanks to a partnership with the Family Medicine Center No. 1 in Kramatorsk, CARE.Ukraine, and financial support from the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic under the MEDEVAC program, we continue to provide access to medical services in frontline communities.

The People Behind Every Story

Denys Pysarenko, 17 years old
Denys has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, which limits his mobility. Thanks to our project, he was able to receive a full medical examination and professional consultation at home.

Nazar Chernyatyn, 4 years old
Nazar was diagnosed with an acute respiratory illness. A timely check-up and the necessary medical recommendations helped prevent complications and ensured effective treatment.

We continue to support those left without proper access to medical services because healthcare should be accessible to everyone!

This assistance has been made possible through the project "Health for All: Supporting the Health of Conflict-Affected Communities and Restoring the Healthcare System in Eastern Ukraine," implemented by the Healthy Decisions Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the international humanitarian organization CARE Česká republika, with financial support from the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic under the MEDEVAC program.
